The 39.3 cubic feet behind the second row remain the same, but passengers in the second seat lose an inch of legroom. The back doors open almost 90 degrees, making it exceptionally convenient to enter and depart the vehicle when transporting kid safety seats, four-legged friends, or more cargo. While the standard S seats are lacking in comfort, the SV variant adds an eight-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with lumbar support. The driver’s seat is supportive, albeit the console limits the amount of space available for extending the right leg while on cruise control. A more compact electronic shifter has replaced the gear shifter in the center console that looks and functions similarly to a broken joystick from an ’80s arcade game.
Engine
